The Lansing Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers was chartered in 1947. Our Chapter covers a wide territory in Michigan and has just under 100 members from all areas of expertise. We hold five technical meetings throughout the year. Meetings are open to anyone who is interested in improving the safety of their workplace. Founded in 1911, ASSE is the oldest and largest professional safety organization. Its more than 32,000 members manage, supervise and consult on safety, health, and environmental issues in industry, insurance, government and education.
